The Natural Science Department of Mahatma College of Education, Nileshwar, in
collaboration with the Eco Club and IQAC, organized a Video Presentation and Digital
Poster Making Competition on 02 February 2026 in connection with World Wetlands Day.
As part of the programme, a video presentation highlighting the importance of wetlands was
presented during the morning assembly. The video effectively created awareness among
students about wetland ecosystems, biodiversity conservation, and the need for sustainable
environmental practices.
The Digital Poster Making Competition was conducted at 2:30 PM in the General Hall. A
total of 15 students actively participated in the competition. The participants showcased their
creativity and environmental awareness through posters focusing on wetland conservation,
threats to wetlands, and their ecological significance.
The programme provided a platform for students to express their ideas creatively and
enhanced their understanding of environmental issues.
The programme concluded successfully with a message emphasizing the importance of
conserving wetlands for the well-being of present and future generations.
